Back to page topJoe, you must have been in error or joking about the 6 year, $25 million deal. He would never sign for that and the union would be upset with him if he did. They are trying to make more money not less.

Back to page topNorpole,
My bad, 25 million a year for six years, but it sounds like Ellsbury has become part of the mix with the sox so I figure Santana will start for the Red Sox on opening day and Jon Lester will get the start for the Twins.

Back to page topJoe,
No problem with the error, even people like roj2000 makes them!! I am not much of a Yankee fan so Santana with the Sox would be better, but you do have to agree that the Twins are the best Triple AAA club in the Majors. They simply can't keep their stars despite the promise of the new ball park in 2010. Keep up the good work!!

Back to page topNo arguement with the Twins being the best AAA team in the Majors. This is not a new problem for the Twins, remember players like Knoblauch who they sold to the Yankees and Pierzinski who went to the Giants and is now with my "favorite" team the White Sox. The Twins are nothing more than a glorified farm team who had a few good years and now that a new stadium is being built Pohlad can tighten up his already tight purse strings and count his billions while the Twins prepare to open the 2010 season in their new ball park with a sub .500 year. I cannot wait!
