D.J. Thomas's blogD.J. Thomas say's THANKS!November 28, 2008 - 5:20pm — D.J. ThomasThank's to you that had a comment to my blogs entries. It is good to know that people can understand my pain who I do not have a clue of who they are. I guess there are some good people in this world. THANKS to the people who took time to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for those of us who were stuck in the dorms this holiday. Being a long way from home the smallest bit of personal generosity goes a long way. Having a desent meal this Thanksgiving was far from my top priority or concern at this time. I am more worried about how I am going to be able to get home for the Christmas break. I wish I never came back!November 21, 2008 - 4:12pm — D.J. ThomasAt first when I returned to I Falls I was very excited about being back up here and coaching at the college. But since I have been back up here things have changed. I was told by people who I will not name that things would be OK. There were certain things that were somewhat guaranted to me that made the move from Louisville to I Falls benifencial to me. Now I could have easily stayed in Louisville. I gave up plenty of opportunities back home to come up here and help the men's b-ball team at RRCC. Adjusting to the cold weather, again.November 19, 2008 - 3:13pm — D.J. ThomasI have been back in IFalls for a few months now and my memories of the cold weather are coming back to me. Being from the lower midwest it gets cold in Louisville, but not this cold. Sometimes I wonder how you people deal with the cold but I guess you have to get use to it. I am trying to get use to not just the weather but how you all do things up here. Mostly all of the people that I incounter are friendly. That is not new to me but by me being a person who likes to keep to myself some people may take me the wrong way. RRCC Mens B-Balls BeginsOctober 2, 2008 - 11:58am — D.J. ThomasHello IFalls this is Coach David D.J. Thomas inviting you all out to the opening scrimage game for the 08-09 season. The coaching staff and I are looking forward to a great and intertaining season. I hope that you all will come out and support us this Saturday. We have returning players and a group of freshman that will be ones to watch. Please come out and support RRCC athletics. It's the same as when I leftSeptember 3, 2008 - 10:02am — D.J. ThomasI can see from the few days that I have been back in IFalls that there is not much that is different. There are a few new things that I don't quite remember around town, but it is still the calm peaceful place that I loved over ten years ago. I still think out of all of the places that I have had a chance to visit that IFalls is one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Since I was up here back in 1997 I have had to opportunity to see many parts of the country via my truck driving experiences. Returning to IFALLSJuly 15, 2008 - 8:43am — D.J. ThomasHello I Falls, Hello I'FallsNovember 21, 2006 - 5:14pm — D.J. ThomasDoes anybody remember when RRCC placed fourth in the state in 1997? I wonder if the people of I'Falls remember the excitement of RRCC beating the number one team in the nation, MCC. This is D.J. Thomas saying hello to my old friends from I'Falls. Look me up, I stay in my hometown and am trying to plan a trip back to I'Falls. I just haven't heard from anyone from I'Falls in years. |
