A North American Military is being created without Congressional indorsement
February 28, 2008 - 2:55am — Mongo
The U.S. and Canadian military have signed a pact to deal with the domestic emergencies of either nation. Right leaning Americans and left leaning Canadians are outraged by spreading details of a hush, hush agreement signed on 02/14/2008 between the United States Military and Canada’s Military, whereby either nation could send troops across each other's borders during an emergency. Please understand that "what" defines an "emergency" is left to the imaginations of military leaders rather than the citizens of the two respective countries. This pact was signed at U.S. Army North headquarters, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, by U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of NORAD and U.S. Northern Command, or USNORTHCOM, and by Canadian Air Force Lt. Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command. Congress was not informed of this and therefor, (as usual) American citizens were not represented or asked if they would want foreign troops on U.S. soil ordering Americans around at gunpoint for ANY REASON. Canadians are equally upset. It seems that this is just one more step towards merging Mexico, America and Canada under one umbrella nation. Worrying about illegal immigrants is a moot point when the big, silent picture is a single nation called “North Americana” with a new currency called The Amero and a single military force. No North American citizen of the three countries involved has been asked to vote on this. It's being rammed down our collective throats. Canadian and American soldiers are dying over in Iraq for “democracy.” This is a joke, when you consider that the citizens of our two countries have no voice in the merging of our sovereign nations. Already, we are under video surveillance from nearly every angle in big cities and this is growing to include small towns. Next on the agenda is the micro chipping of every farm animal and pet. Who do you think "they" will want to chip next? Everything we wear or drive is being chipped. Our every keystroke is being followed and noted. If this be democracy . . . Look! Give me liberty, or give me death. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Back to page topMongo,
I love the idea/concept of a "North AMERICANA"!! Then G.W. Bush can be President AGAIN, or maybe even Governator Arnold, can be President! So, which part would you prefer, Liberty or Death?? Just a question, DJ Folks, not a threat!! I have nothing to hide, and my dogs are microchipped. But, now you have me wondering, since I had a colonoscopy yesterday, maybe they implanted me!! So, ALL 100 soldiers in the Canadian Military signed on, to protect the USA?? Good for them!!
roj2000, Thanks for your...
Back to page toproj2000, Thanks for your insight. The subject of my above “forum piece” has nothing to do with not having anything to hide from the government. This is about a government "by the people, and for the people;" hiding things from "the people." All is not comfy just because you or I (at present) have nothing to hide. In 1938, Jews thought that the first step Der Fatherland took to restrict them, was the last step . . . All they had to do was register with the government that “they” were Jews. Little step by little step. One decree at a time the Jews “complied” all of the way into the shower rooms. They went like sheep. How could it be that they were so docile and went to their deaths without a fight? I’ll tell you: The removal of their liberties one step at a time. Each liberty, of, and, by, itself didn’t look like “such a big thing.” Governments around the globe have learned from history: “How Germany came THIS CLOSE to Ruling the World”
Our Constitution was set up for a bottom to top KIND of government, not a top to bottom UNKIND government. I have nothing to hide (either) roj, but if a new decree came into effect, reasoning that since Canadians don’t like our “Right to arm bears,” they will not go along with some aspects of our new merging North American plan to build a super highway from Mexico to Canada (also rammed through with no Congressional representation) . . . so, to make our Canadian friends happy: As of January 1st, 2009, U.S. Code 2009- B will be implemented: "All U.S. citizens are to turn in all firearms until a Special Gun Permit to own a firearm is established." (then) U.S. Code 2009-C goes into effect on January 2nd, 2009: " No Gun Permit shall be issued to anyone who has ever received a traffic ticket in any North American State." Then Decree 2009-D: No person except law enforcement personnel may own a firearm.” Penalties would “begin” with forfeiture of all assets and property.
My point is, just because we presently feel we are law abiding citizens, is no guarantee that a new law won’t come along instantly positioning us outside of the law. We are fast moving into a “nation ruled by decree. For instance, World War II was the last time Congress gave it’s Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval to an Act of War. Since then only one branch of the Federal Government was needed to declare war upon another nation: The Executive. This was the beginning step of the American people losing control of their government.
Outlaws are not always born or created. Sometimes outlaws are legislated and decreed into existence.
Oh, and never forget: “Ignorance of the law is no excuse.”
But, but what if a new law isn't publicized? What if it's enacted in secret?
"Hey bud, what's wid de Paranoia? Life's tough all over."
Mongo, I guess they didn't...
Back to page topMongo,
I guess they didn't like us trading "little barbs", huh?? Such a fine line we must walk. Like you said, little by little, things are taken away!! Anyway, maybe I'm too trusting of my Guvment, but then what choice do we have?? Total anarchy?? The North Americana idea you brought up, has been floated around for years, and I don't think it will ever happen, at least in mine and your lifetimes! I personally don't trust ANY of our politicians, of ANY political party. They are bought and sold, day in and day out, while WE sit back and have to take it!! But, we still live in the greatest Country in the FREE world. And I really don't think they are going to take our guns aways from us, any time soon. I carry one in my truck at all times, just in case one of the local thugs try to carjack me. Only had to pull it a couple of times. So, when the American Nazi party comes to take my guns away, then I'll deal with it then. Anyway, have a good day, Mongo and will talk with ya later.

Back to page topYeah, roj2000 now I can no longer be sarcastic towards you when I feel you tweakin' me red buttons. That's ok. You're a standup guy and I'd rather be friends then trading barbs. Now I know where the DJ line is in the sand. THIS FAR . . . and no further . . . Okeeee-dokeeee. I see a lot of folks are angry at the DJ for their censorship, but I'm groovy with it. They provide me with a platform in which I can connect to the community and I wouldn't want to lose that. It's their website and we all use it. It's like when someone is in my car. I'm the boss. Submit to my dictatorial ways or walk. They have that right. I submit to it and do not want to push the envolope with them. Take care out there . . .
Mongo. So are you implying...
Back to page topMongo. So are you implying that there is a difference between wiseguys and wise men? I loved your piece even though it is a bit of a slippery slope argument. There is this thing about a North American Union floating around that nobody but the wise men seem interested in talking about. Especially Lou Dobbs on CNN. You focus on the second amendment brings it all home. I am an unarmed bear myself and really have a problem with arming bears. Oops, I became a wiseguy.
"so, to make our Canadian...
Back to page top"so, to make our Canadian friends happy..." Why don't our Canadian friends make us happy and instead re-arm their (our new) citizens? And while they're at it they can cut the French crap out also.
I say lets pull the troops out of Iraq and invade Canada. I want free and unfettered access to Redgut, Swell bay and the Sein. Ok the invasion deal is a bit tongue in cheek but I'm serious about free and unfettered access to the other side of Rainy.
Blackbay, you have...
Back to page topBlackbay, you have birthrights, use em and claim status and then we can have a fish fry on corn Island. It would be a new soldier point. I can say you are my guide. I was just reading about this super highway from Mucocis Mexico to Omygoshnotmoreyanks, Ontario, who and when did this become a reality. I think it is for a real Red Dawn invasion, good strait shot north to south or south to north, depending on your country of origin, and route it so no bridges are needed, that is why the present route, border to border, 45 to 35 to 33 to 53 would not be appropiate because of heavy armored traffic. This is happening, talk about an eminent domaian(sp, it's early) nightmare. 27 mile wide easement??!!!!!

Back to page topDoorsman,
How about some "links" to where you are getting this info, or are you, (as usual) full of BS?? As my "Hero" says, "Borders, language, and culture"!!!!

Back to page topKinky Friedman, it was on Imus this am and on a FOX flash this weekend, that is well rounded and balanced isn't it, seems like something to be concerned with, and speaking of being full of something,,,,,,. I don't give links, if I see it in the paper or see it on the telie or hear it on the radio, that is what is real man, not these stinking links, unless of course I totally agree with them. And again, don't start with me, I'm not in the mood, this message is not intended to impart any ill will to anyone, in particular people who live south of the M/D line.

Back to page topDoorsman,
Ole Kinky as the "point of contact", now that I HAVE to believe!! But if you saw it on FOX then I know it's reliable!! And hey, don't go Anton on me, just cause I called "BS" on ya!! You need some Wisers to kill the bug thats residing where the sun don't shine!! But I'll try to do a little homework this weekend to check out the "express lane" from South of the Border to Canada!!

Back to page topRoj, I just commented to TJ, and am having a Wisers as we type,or is it tpey or pyte, anyway, it seems that there is diggen and earth moven in Texas as we speak. You have to like Imus, he is a McCain guy so what comes out of his show is at least 50%.
Doorsman, You are right on...
Back to page topDoorsman,
You are right on with Imus. He also likes Leiberman. Glad to have the I-Man back on the airwaves. He got shafted from his old station, but took it like a man (caved in), and now he is back. Glad you are partaking of a little Wisers. You sound like your old self now (whoever that is). Remember, I'm slow!!
