What is the situation with Sheridan Motors?

When you want to buy a Ford, Jeep or Dodge product, you can go to Wherley's, but over the last year or so, the choice of GM products at Sheridan Motors has significantly dwindled to rental returns and trade ins. What has been going on there and does anyone have the scoop as to why the long time GM dealer is in such tough shape? |

Back to page topThe Daily Journal this week spoke with both Sheridan Motors and Washke regarding the pending sale. According to Carrie Washke-Collie of Washke Plaza in Cook, required environmental assessments have come back good from the seller and the buyer is now applying to General Motors. No closing date has been scheduled, but the sale should take place sometime in late January or early February, according to Washke-Collie.
