Obama's Life

» Read similar stories filed under:

The following letter I received in an email sent to me. I took the time to check it out at snopes.com for the simple reason I don't appreciate receiving false information on anything and never just pass things on if there shows to be even one question. Snopes does refute the money needed for college and explains it in a believable fashion. Snopes has an issue with one part of the Obama house purchase, but all in all they don't refute anything else contained in this letter, so I say it's good food for thought before the election. Combine this with some and I say some of the other things dangling from and swirling around Senator Obama like his stance on abortion throughout term. His stance on bringing down the Federal Marriage Amendment which could lead to the legalization of Gay marriages in all 50 states and your children or grandchildren having to be taught the Gay Lifestyle starting as early as the age of 5 and the parents would have no say in it. His proposal to give drivers licenses to all illegal immigrants and lets not forget that was one of the first steps the terrorists took before 9-11. The Berg vs Obama court case playing out in the Pennsylvania courts right now, which is mind boggling to say the least. Mr. Berg has challenged Senator Obama and the DNC on the validity of his birth certificate and suggests Senator Obama is not a legal citizen of the USA and therefore can not even run for the POTUS office legally. This case has been going on for months now and instead of taking the easy route to end the case and show the proof, Senator Obama and the DNC have filed against it and have asked for dismissal, but you can check this out for yourself by using Google or any other search engine with the words Berg vs Obama. His full endorsement of the butcher running Kenya today where hundreds of people are being slaughtered daily, many just for being Christians. His $800,000 donation to ACORN. More than likely you have guessed who I'm voting for....And now the letter,

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is
very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs
and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did
not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he used all
his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and
Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his
second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip. Stopping to
see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in
Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off
to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get
the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would
have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he
came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is
at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you
know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least!
Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After
Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for
$12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living
in New York.

By 'chance' he met? Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a
real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and
bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' by the
Arab-American Business and Professional Association'. About two years
later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what
tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law
School? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago.
Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job
with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented
'Rezar' which is Rezko's firm.? Rezko was one of Obama's first major
financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003,
Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter
David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed
money' for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in
Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price).
With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the
property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining
empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi,
an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before
Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times
with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele
Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any
major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born?
Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran!? Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going
crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley, advisor to Obama,
was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with
'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past
week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported
that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing
about the war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'.

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in
Pakistan? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet campaign
contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor
and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?

Advertisement. Article continues below.

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times
posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with George
Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim
faith'. When questioned, 'he made a mistake'. Some mistake!

All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check
it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett:
Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times -
September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own,
Why haven't all of our 'intelligent' members of the press been reporting
this?

A phrase that keeps ringing in my ear - 'Beware of the enemy from
within'!

That's a lot of information,...

Back to page top

That's a lot of information, and a lot of inuendo about Mr. Obama. I pray that when all is done the truth will become knowm far and wide throughout the land. It all seems as if something far more sinister is happening, like world events are proceeding according to someone's plan.

Whether you're a right wing righteous or a left wing liberal or somewhere in between, please go out and vote!

Schmitty, I think you need to listen to Colin Powell's interview again, esp the part about the Muslim-American soldier he specifically refers to.

It saddens me to see what ugliness has come out of this election. People yelling "kill him" and other obscenities at both party's rallies. It further frustrates me that I log on to my home town newspaper website to see more of that hate and bigotry.

Disagree with Obama's politics, but let's stop spreading the dissension and hate. It has been proven time and time again that Obama is not muslim. Even if he was a muslim, isn't this country founded on religious freedom? What if he was Buddist or atheist? I respect other's views and their political choices, but could you please blog on the differences btwn Obama and McCain versus the old "Obama is a Muslim" scare tactic?

Let's encourage people to get out and vote!

Schmitty53,

Glad to have ya back!! Sounds like you just rolled in on the "Straight Talk Express"!! Let the Liberals ignore the truth about Obama, but THEY will have to own up to the mess and distruction when he becomes President and we return to the Jimmy Carter style of weak leadership! Only THIS TIME it will be worse, MUCH WORSE! As Concerned Person aluded to, just read the Bible and you will see that Obama, is the "right hand man" to the "Anti-Christ" and we may be headed towards the end of Civilization!! As for LesleyK, the poor woman has been given too much Liberal "Koolaid" and cannot see through the "smoke and mirrors" that are hiding the REAL OBAMA!! I was at Starbucks tonight and was having coffee with one of the local Police Sergeants, and he said that based on Obama's past, ie- admitted excessive drug use, shady dealings with admitted terrorists and crooks, He (Obama) would not be considered for a position with the Charleston Police Department, let alone, The Presidency of the USA!! My God People, wake up, before we elect this "disaster waiting to happen"!! I always knew that our "welfare system and baby farming" would cause us to vote in someone like this. But, just not this soon!!

Liberal Koolaid? LOL Roj, I never said who I was voting for. Maybe I'll do a write-in and write your name on the dotted line! :p President RJ does have a nice ring to it! With her qualifications, maybe Palin could be your secretary! ;) (sorry couldn't help myself)

Just because I choose to stick to the issues rather than point fingers doesn't make me a liberal. I have seen both sides' smear campaigns and for some reason seem to see more Obama/racist/anti-muslim stuff on here. My only point is that we can play like kids in the school yard, pointing fingers and calling names or we can be grown-ups and compare the real issues. Personally, I think the name calling and bigotry is getting old; I would prefer some hard cold facts on the issues.

Is name calling all you hard-core Repubs have to back yourselves up? As an independent, it is a BIG turn off, fyi.

Hey Lesleyk, I want you to...

Back to page top

Hey Lesleyk, I want you to know I never did any name calling re: Obama. He's always talking about what he's going to change but never reveals the specifics of how he's going to bring about the national cooperation to move his projects forward. But neither has McCain. When it's all said, no one is able to declare how it will all happen, and with the polarization in the Capitol, I seriously doubt that any of it will happen so the idea of any change let alone the type of changes that will really matter are not likely.
Nothing I have seen or heard in this campaign convinces me any different. To prove my point just look at the sleazy negative ads from all sides of this campaign. I am waiting for a candidate who refuses to lower himself/herself to the level of nastiness of all parties, that person will be a real leader worthy of whatever office they are running for even if its an office of seeming little importance.
That's the leader the country needs, one that is above all of the usual nastiness, and ugliness that has come to mark out our political campaigns, even our local ones. When I see such a candidate then and only then will I notice a true patriot worthy of respect, trust and the office for which they are running.

You deserve the "thumbs up"...

Back to page top

You deserve the "thumbs up" lesleyk for your intelligent and lonely fight for sanity in the midst of the right-wing insanity that emerges in this blog something like the racist taunts emerge in recent Republican political gatherings. Elections tend to bring out the craziness in people who otherwise seem perfectly capable.

First, the fear angle. It is no accident that "sweet little" Ashley Todd had the backwards "B" carved into her Republican face by a 6'4" black man. That mythical black man is the object of all the fears that emerge in this election. Always has been. His name used to be Willie Horton. McCain/Palin have played to those fears.

The Muslim angle. Michael Savage and his ilk [roj loves that term -- feels that it includes him. Does.] love that fact that Hussein is the middle name of our first black candidate. Makes him a dangerous guy who might just fly his campaign jet into the pentagon. By the way, my middle name is Leroy. That makes me an African American, which explains my obvious pro-Obama stance.

The Jimmy Carter Angle. Jimmy Carter was a good man who became an ineffective president. It is not a party thing; it relates to intelligence and temperament. You need both and he only had the first. W had neither and Bush 41 had smidgins of both. The beauty of the American system is that it is self-correcting.

We elect a president for four years and then place him in a situation where his power is balanced by both the Congress and the courts. An ineffective president cannot do very much damage in a four year term. But if they do go over the line -- Nixon did and Clinton did -- we have this wonderful device called impeachment. We are not electing a dictator; we are electing a president who will be subject to constraints built into the system by wise men who feared abusive power more than anything. I am not sure there is any protection, however, against a pit bull with lipstick.

So thanks, lesleyk, for exercising rationality in an irrational season. We will all enjoy the end to this madness next week.

TLJ,

The "Muslim Angle" is gonna bite all you "bible lovers" in the BUTT, when the **** hits the fan. You are right on about our Country's [checks and balance system], but the Demonrat's choice for President will throw it all out the window. Obama really wasn't the "left-winger's" REAL pick for President, but after the Foriegn money, George Soros money, and the "under the table" money was spent to steal the nomination from Hilary, there was nothing the Dem's could do. But, as others on here [some of them you really adore] have noted, maybe this will put an end to the "you owe me/reparations issue!! I really think not, but, what choice do we have?? The foot is in the door, and they are coming in!! I sit back and have to laugh at how many of you like to throw the "racist" lable around like it is some trivial thing. Usually it is thrown by the same people who would never hire a black person, or teach in a University that has more than one or two percent enrolment of Blacks. So easy to throw that term around, when YOU are not affected by it. So, so, easy it is!!!! But, I have Jewish friends here in Chas town, who own businesses, who are voting for Obama, but don't and will not hire Blacks. I asked them numerous times, and their answer is; "we can't find any that are qualified"!! Isn't that remarkable? But, a Jewish person cannot be racist can they?? So, throw your "phony lables" around all you want, because at the end of the day, "you too" are a [closet racist], but you have the other liberals "on here" fooled by your eloquence!!

I am always so thankful when you emerge and confirm everything that I have just said by just being yourself. I am just old enough to remember how it felt when we were about to elect our first Papist back in the 60's. Despite all his denials, we just knew that JFK was going to be taking his marching orders from the Pope in Rome. And we kind of knew that the priests and nuns, all covered up in their long black robes, were going to invade our protestant culture, making us eat fish on Fridays and learn Latin so we could understand the mass and all of those cultish things that Papists do when we aren't looking.

You would think we had learned our lesson from that one where we ended up with a Papist president, a Papist attorney general, a Papist secretary of War and had to get used to the idea that Papists end up with two middle names after first communion. And I guess we did, electing eight straight white Protestant males after that.

Just for clarification. If a man has a mother who is Protestant and a father who is Papist, is that person automatically a Papist? Enquiring minds do want to know.

I know lesleyk cannot or will not give me an update, but I'm kind of curious how the "Armed Forces Veteran" is doing against Mayor Mason. The "Veteran" is probably doing as good as McCain. Everyone has given the "veteran vote" a bum rap this election. 9/11 is too far in people's memory bank, so it looks like Veteran's don't mean **** to anyone, ANYMORE!! But, I predict Mayor Mason will be re-elected by a vote of 598 to 27 on election day. And the "Country Club" boys will get elected to the other positions, mark my word. So, AGAIN, any updates on how the Candidates are doing??

And the church he attended for 20 years, then distanced himself from it when the reverend went public with what Senator Obama had been listening to. As for the Muslim portion, he did make that mistake, but if you watch the video it is strange the way it just fell out of his mouth. He didn't catch the mistake by himself, he had to be corrected by the interviewer. Now we have the most extreme Liberal politician in the history of our country who SOMEHOW is going to be elected President of our country combined with Liberal leaning Democratic controlled congress.....that just scares the heck out of me. lesleyk, I apologize if your were offended, it wasn't the intention. Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25%highest in country.

He goes on to excel at the best universities in the country and graduates at the head of the law school class at the top rated school in the country. Upon graduation he does not use his accomplishments to enrich himself, instead he heads to a city unkown to him and works to help people find jobs and cope in tough economic times.

If his politics skewed right, Schmitty would be washing his feet: he's everything the American dream consists of. Instead he skews left and Schmitty conveniently tags him with every sin every commited in the city of Chicago.

Despite being in charge of the Harvard Law Review, he has never been published or accredited with any legal jurisprudence; 3. Back to page top

Schmitty53,

Hang in there!! You're doing great with "putting out the facts" on this horrible excuse for a Presidential Candidate!! Ever since the Rodney King incident, "can't we all get along", we have been having to show servile deference (ie- kow towing) to the American Africans, for one simple ***-whupping!! Sure it was wrong, but let's get over it. Besides Rodney King was a PUNK who continued to get into trouble, years after the incident. But, in order to make the "playing field" level, we had to let O.J. Simpson go free, (until he messed up in Vegas), then came unequal opportunity employment hiring, etc, etc. . . .!! Now we are at the point of no return, and very little that we can do about it. I always said the Demonrats would sell their soul to the Devil, in order to get one of them in the White House. Well, they did just that, and I wonder what the cost will be?? The welfare vote, and the "promised" entitlement vote will trump this election I'm afraid. And what will the "welfare crowd" do when Mr Obama fails to deliver on most of the promises? I'm lucky in the fact that I don't need his welfare/entitlement promises, and I'm "hopefully" not rich enough to get gouged by his massive tax increases we will endure. Robin Hood is on the way, hide what you have, because, the distribution of wealth is about to begin. Now that I think if it, it might be a very amusing ride!! What little faith I had in God, has just about flown out the window!!

You guys keep on forgetting Willie Horton, Cinque, Dred Scott, and Jack Tatum. If race baitin' [Palinspeak] is on the agenda, at least do it well.

Wealth redistribution is exactly what supply-side economics has always been about. The frightening thing about Obama's model is that he is closer to the the Bible than to Arthur Laffer.
So, previous writer, is your faith in Republican orthodoxy or in biblical redistribution? The choice is fairly simple. The statement "to each according to his need" shows up in two documents: "And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. (Acts 2:44-45" and Karl Marx.
The social need to concentrate inherited wealth in the leader class has a completely different pedigree.

So you think Obama is closer to the Bible than the Koran? I have very little use for the Bible's interpretation of economics. I much prefer the teachings of Mr Laffer, who by the way was a BIG Reagan supporter, and even liked Bush #1, until Bush started the "read my lips" jazz. Then he hightailed it over to the Clinton camp in 92. Maybe thats why Clinton did so well on the economy? Anyway, I prefer "Laffer's napkin of eponymity" over the "Bible side economics" ANYDAY! Besides, one of Laffer's campaigns is to stop MoveOn.Org!! I hope he's successful.

TLJ, I must take exception with you trying to make Jesus a Marxist. Trying to fit Jesus into any of our models is of course absurd.

The passages to which you refer are of course in reference to statements made by Jesus describing the depth of commitment necessary to follow Him and/or to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It's not an economic statement. His parable of 'The Talents' in Matthew 25 is more economic.

His view on morals is the same view as those running the sate of Massachusetts now, where they have in effect stolen parenting away from the parents and children come home from kindergarten with books teaching the gay lifestyle. So true! He just completed step one in wiggling out of a lawsuit that would force him to show his real birth certificate and prove he was born in the USA. The bringer of the suit a DEMOCRAT and lawyer has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court. Someone, anyone tell me why instead of filing (2) counter suits, why hasn't Mr. Obama just solved the whole mess and produced it? This is no small thing. Think about it, if someone challenged you on something as simple as a birth certificate would you file a counter suit, or just show it, if you really had a valid one? How on God's green earth is something like this even possible and get's hardly a mention from our upstanding media?

Joe the Plumber? Nope. Joe...

Joe the Plumber? Nope. Joe the Tax Dodger. Joe the Relative of Charles Keating. Joe the Plumber appears to be Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher.

He owes back taxes of $1,182.98.

His father is Robert Wurzelbacher right wing fanatic and contributor who is the son in law of..... you're not going to believe this. Charles Keating. He is, yes, the "Keating 5" and CRIMINAL to the max. Look him up.

Oh there's also a Joe the Twice Divorced Wife Beater.

Joe has since been fired from his job as a (ha ha) plumber because he was working without a license. Honestly, you just can't do that. He worked for a company of TWO. $250,00 a year?? Um, not even close.

He lived in Tucson, AZ. Guess who else did. Yep.
He has a cousin in Wasilla, Alaska. Ring a bell? You betcha. Wink. Wink. Was he a plant? Hmmm...
