Evolving Website

Hi readers! Many of you have asked if The Daily Journal site will evolve, will we include photos, where is this or that. Yes, our site will evolve as we work out the kinks of this new format.

The arena schedule will be included on Fridays as usual, it will be under Sports. We will post photos periodically as we did on the old site. Printed Daily Journal photos can still be purchased under the "Archives" tab through dotPhoto. The Adopt a Pet & Dining Guide will be available in an upper navigation bar.

We've heard complaints about navigating through the site but if you step back & look, the navigation is really simple. On the home page are the news stories posted for the day. Click on a story & the inside page will give you a News Navigator box right near the top with categories such as "Deaths" or "Sports", here are your stories.

Again, we thank you for your patience in this transition.

Thumbs up folks... It'll take some time for some people to get use to, but the new site is dynamite! Can't wait to check out some of the blogs... see what ya'll are really thinking. Love the hard copy, pick it up often (hmmm, forgot to sign up for the free subscription!). Good to see the paper's locally focused...and thanks for giving us computer geeks a place to touch base. Keep up the good work.
