The Bridge to Terebithia was very heart-moving. I think it should've been Rated PG though, there was a time or two that I got scared.

I was glad that Pan's won some too. 300 looks good, I'm looking forward to seeing it at the theater. The Departed just left the theater here. Big fan of Nine Inch Nails - their new cd is coming out soon - I have four of the new songs already.

As far as the "there is no hell" comment. It may not be that easy to tell a child that, they need to express their fears and questions and the movie is very sad whether you believe in hell or not.

Yeah...my husband & I are both excited to see The 300. It looks awesome. We just watched Man of the Year, too, and it was pretty good. Robin Williams is just so funny. It's got a bit of a serious side attached, too, which adds to the film's overall quality.

It's no wonder The Departed took home several Oscars...best director, best picture, best adapted screen play, and film editing. Awesome movie!!!

I LOVED the departed. It wasn't GREAT, but it's the best movie I saw all year, that's for sure. I picked it up on DVD at the grocery store today. It's something I need to have in the collection.

The Lord of the Rings really ruined movies for me, they're so amazing I just haven't been happy with anything since. I'm looking foward to the 300 though. That will be out soon and the graphics look incredible - and who can hate a movie thats trailer plays a Nine Inch Nails song (Just like you Imagined - Fragile). *chills* You know it'll be intense and exciting!!!

The Abandoned was horrible. It had the same old same old story line. Then at the end all of a sudden there is about 10 minutes of this naked woman walking around.

If that doesn't make you lose interest, try this "boars eating babies alive." I believe the whole audience cleared when they knew what was going to happen.

The Bridge to Terebithia is not too bad, a bit after school special. But it deals with a very heavy issue, so be ready to answer some serious questions from your son. The fantasy part is a very small portion with most of it shown in the credits. Most of the people at this one were crying half way thru, children and adults.

I really am not one to go to too many movies or watch much tv (EXCEPT THE NEWS). My daughter enjoys the theater, when she sees a good movie she can't wait for me to see it. Of course I wait for the dvd, and the two of us do the pop and popcorn on the couch covered with a blanket laughing and giggling like two teens. We enjoyed the heart warming/breaking love story written by Nicholas Sparks "The Notebook" with James Garner, Gena Rowlands, Rachel McAdams and the good looking (umm) Ryan Gosling. (Girls this man IS HOT HOT HOT).

I want to see Bridge to Terebithia and so does my son and my husband. I hope it's good! I also just watched "The Departed" --- amazing film. Loved it. And, I'm not that into action/violent movies, but this one was a winner. It kept me intrigued all the way to the end. I'm going to watch "Man of the Year" with Robin Williams tonight...I hope it's as funny as the commercials made it out to be.
