Maybe Al Gore can slow down his "gas hog" Lear Jet from 500 mph, to maybe, 55 mph!! Oh wait a minute, then the plane would fall from the sky!! Hmmmm, maybe I have a good idea there????

I thought that the lower speed limits saved lives. Not everybody can afford a new vehicle.

We're all for reducing carbon emissions, but we can't support lowering the speed limit on interstate highways to do it.
