The Daily Journal this week spoke with both Sheridan Motors and Washke regarding the pending sale. According to Carrie Washke-Collie of Washke Plaza in Cook, required environmental assessments have come back good from the seller and the buyer is now applying to General Motors. No closing date has been scheduled, but the sale should take place sometime in late January or early February, according to Washke-Collie.
