But in this case, it should serve to remind us that there are people we rely upon each day to keep us safe.<br /> That’s the idea behind a monument at Roseau Memorial Park dedicated to emergency service workers who died in the line of duty. The monument honors fallen heroes who gave their lives in an effort to bring safety and security to other people.<br /> Among the first people recognized in the monument is a former International Falls man, Richard K.
