What type of license do you

What type of license do you need to drive these scooters. I have seen some very young drivers of smaller scooters driving around town. They seem to treat them as a toy.

These are beautiful and so emotional. Is this publication for sale to the public? If so, where?

Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed Faye

I really enjoyed Faye Whitbeck's valentine story. Seldom do you hear a fresh perspective on Valentines day that is useful and constructive. It is a somewhat critical look at the holiday and yet is still positive. Can't wait to check out Jesse Arzate's book! Another great story by Ms Whitbeck.

I don't know about the rest

I don't know about the rest of you out there in blogger-land, but I love Valentine's Day. I don't ever expect to get a present on Valentine's Day. I use it to make the lives brighter for the people that I love. For instance, one year, I took a bunch of purple, red, pink, and white construction paper (I was about 20) and I cut them into hearts of all sizes. Early on the morning of February 14th, I snuck out to my dad's truck and taped them all over the inside. On the biggest one, which I taped to his steering wheel, I announced, You've just had a HEART ATTACK! and waited for him to find them. Too bad for my little sister (about nine years old at the time) who missed the bus that day...she was pretty embarrassed getting dropped off at school in a heart-filled Trooper. Ha ha ha....

I don't usually buy too many things. Instead, I try to make something, or just send a good friend a note. Like was said in the article, those who need the most love are often those who are forgotten. Valentine's Day is a holiday much like May Day. Who makes May baskets anymore? I still do. And, I still hang them anonymously and knock on my neighbor's doors at 9:00 a.m. in the hopes they will not see me. It's fun. It's a chance to make someone feel special. It doesn't have to be a partner, it can be anyone. Grandma, grandpa, sister, brother, cousin. It's important for people to know you love them and you appreciate them. It's not a holiday that says "Hey, I love you today, but not the other 364 days" -- it should say, "Thank you for loving me." That's always how I've looked at it.

Hi Faye: I'm enjoying your articles but particularly wanted to let you know how much I appreciated A grown-up Christmas list. Our family also decided to take tags off the Angel tree instead of gifting ourselves and we are all enjoying buying gifts for them. It truly is the joy of Christmas to give to others. Thanks for your suggestions on how to make a better Christmas for others.
