How do you have an impromptu alumni game? I don't know of very many RRCC women's basketball players who are still living in the area and are able to travel at the drop of a hat. Too bad...how many alumni showed up? I know when we had the game a couple of years ago, we got our pic in the paper...did you cover the game, Joe? I'd like to know how it went. :) Thanks!

I think that the game is impromptu. They have the weekend off so both teams scheduled the game. It is not on the master schedule and the only way I found out was because it was on the marquee above the gym. I do not think that many familiar faces will turn out on such short notice.

Wow...Rick DeBenedet is now coaching the Voyageur women? How long has he been doing that??? I hope he does a good job with them...I remember playing for him in high school. It's too bad I didn't hear about the alumni game...I never get notified about that stuff anymore. RRCC should work harder at notifying past players of things like that. I might have tried to make it home and see some old, familiar faces.

As soon as I hit the "post" button on my comment to you, I did a google, and found out you "are correct" for 2000!! I owe you a frosty one!! But, the interesting this is when I looked at the map, it looked like it was all Bush in Minnehaha in 2000. But when you look at St Louis Cnty, etc,. then you see that they pulled it out for Gore!! Nutjobs they are down there! So, yes, we pulled to wool over your eyes that election year. We should have kept the Border Bar open later the night before the 2004 election! LOL So, lets get back to Biden. Why can't we (including roj) get this good man more traction! Some say he cheated his way through college, etc., but he sure knows his way around when it comes to the economy of this country and also big time on foreign relations. So, what gives?? That is the million dollar question! As for me on the fringe, that is an open/loaded question! Are you talking business or romance?? Believe it or not, I don't drink the GOP koolaid, and I will vote for whomever I thing will get the job done. I have been let down a couple of times. But, Biden would be the first Dem I voted for!

WE all wish mens hockey was back, but because of some bad decisions the programs slowly disappeared. Football is important for this community. I guess the question would be, what if the football team was made up only of white kids from Northern Minnesota, that would be ok but that is not how it is. This college can use all the help it can get, even if some people don't like it, and yes, if it was a riot, someone should admit it and see it is curtailed(sp), I'm in a hurry again. See ya

The first term Roj, before the nightmare began, and the links are in my head, but they are real as I remember sitting with several people and looking at the numbers and colors on the map, Kooch was red, and what if Kooch residents are a bit liberal, there are enough moderates to offset the radical fringe from both sides. Are you on the fringe Roj? The second term(the nightmare), of Bush, Kooch went for scary Kerry.
