Bridge tournament

Diabetes association
The American Diabetes Association will meet at 6 p.m.Tuesday at First Lutheran Church. Topic will be “Healthy Recipes and Snacks.” Participants are welcome to bring a recipe and sample to share if they wish.

Falls High School Class of 1964 will gather for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn. All classmates are welcome.

Koochiching Men’s Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Faith United Church, 1001 Fifth St. (Enter through parking lot door to the Fireside Room.). Tom Barthell will be the host.

Loss support group
The Hospice Loss Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the International Mall (back door, room by Synergy Solutions). Guest speaker will be Pat Bjorum.
Clothes Closet
The Community Clothes Closet will accept drop offs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Aquinas Hall, 810 fifth St. The Closet will be open from 10 to 4 Thursday.
Religious education
Religious Education classes at St. Thomas Aquinas Church will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday for parents and First Reconciliation students and Confirmation grades 7-11 will gather from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
Hwy 53 Task Force
The Trunk Highway 53 Long Range Improvement Task Force will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Department of Transportation Office Building, 101 N. Hoover Road, Virginia.
Fifty-Five Plus

‘Celebrate Recovery’
We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up or habit. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-based, 12-step program and the group meets every Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Evangelical Covenant Church. Everyone is welcome.
The Lamplighters
The Lamplighters, an on-going women’s support group for survivors of incest and/or childhood sexual abuse, will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at the Sunrise Center Against Sexual Abuse, 203 Third St. Facilitator is Pam Bechik, MA in Psychology. A light meal will be provided by Domino’s Pizza prior to each group meeting. Pre-register by calling 283-9334.
