Pancake breakfast
Kabetogama United Methodist Church will sponsor the final Wild Blueberry Pancake Breakfast of the summer from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Kabetogama Senior Building.

USDA Rural Development
Office day for USDA Rural Development will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the basement conference room of Koochiching County Courthouse. Rural Development provides a 1 percent interest rate home repair loan to very low income homeowners and a subsidized home purchase program to very low and low income households.

Summer Reading picnic
International Falls Public Library’s Summer Reading picnic and finale performance is set for 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Smokey Bear Park. A lunch of hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips, pickles, Kool-Aid and ice cream will be provided. This will be the first chance to pick up summer reading t-shirts. Willy Welch will perform at 1 in the park. All readers are welcome.

Work bee
Rainy River Riders Saddle Club will be gather for a work bee at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the club arena on Truck Route 332 and Highway 53 to prepare for the Saturday horse show.
