Farm Bureau Insurance is under new management.
The 10-year old office in the International Falls Mall has new faces to serve the community. The business will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during this transition and by appointment for the other days of the week.
“We fully intend to expand our hours to full time soon and we appreciate our clients patience during this transition,” Paul Chapman, who has acquired the Falls office and will divide his time with his Virginia office.
Chapman has four years experience and is licensed in all lines of insurance and securities. He said he is looking forward to offering life, health, property, casualty, home, auto, disability and long term care insurance, along with offering financial and retirement strategies to include mutual funds through Farm Bureau Financial Services.
Chapman attended the year long Farmers Bureau commercial insurance training program in West Des Moines, Iowa, and is currently pursuing underwriting credentials.
In addition to offering standard home owners, auto and health insurance, Chapman said he is excited to talk about the importance of agricultural and commercial agricultural and business insurance.
“We offer more types of coverage for farms than any other company to my knowledge,” said Chapman. “We are the number one insurer of farms in Minnesota.”
Karrene Heppner, Farm Bureau Insurance agent, is a Littlefork native and started a career in insurance in 2005 after working with the Buchholz Dental Office for 16 years.
“Our products are competitively priced,” she said of the insurance business. “But even more than that, we want to ensure people that they have appropriate and adequate coverage for their needs.”
Cathy Gordon, service associate, said the entire staff has changed and in this transition period there will be one full time agent, a part time agent and a professional office manager.
