Submitted by Jehovah’s Witnesses Minnesota Circuit No. 1-B

The Special Assembly Day of Jehovah’s Witnesses was conducted April 19 at Bemidji High School auditorium, Bemidji.
Delegates from the local International Falls congregation were among the 821 in attendance for a program composed of talks, interviews and experiences.
The theme, “We Are the Clay — Jehovah Is Our Potter,” was based on Isaiah 64:8. The Scriptural admonition provided by means of this program increased our appreciation for the Great Potter’s wisdom, justice, power and love.
The public talk, “Be Molded by the Great Potter,’” was delivered by district overseer Gary J. Wells. Other program parts showed how we can benefit ourselves by applying Bible principles in our daily lives, to assist youths, and help new ones to make spiritual progress. Deaf persons present benefited from the presentation of the program in American Sign Language.
All present, from 10 Northeastern Minnesota congregation, were encouraged to consider how they might have a greater share in the Kingdom preaching and teaching work. Qualified dedicated ones had the opportunity to be baptized by water immersion and to begin serving as ordained ministers.
