Witnesses attend circuit assembly

» Read similar stories filed under:

Area members of the International Falls congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses attended a two-day circuit assembly Sept. 12-13 at Bemidji High School.

“Safeguard Your Spirituality,” based on Romans 8:5 and Jude 17-19, was the assembly theme. Talks, symposiums, demonstrations, interviews, and experiences emphasized “to counteract the spirit of permissiveness, we must safeguard and strengthen our spirituality.”

One Saturday morning session feature was the baptism of newly dedicated ones by total water immersion.

Sunday afternoon, District Overseer Gary J. Wells spoke on the subject “Maintaining Spiritual Health in a Sick World.” Wells serves as District Overseer of Minnesota and several surrounding states.

A total of 719 were in attendance from 10 Northeastern Minnesota congregations. Their ministry, featuring free home Bible courses, resumed when they returned to their home congregations.

I worked at Watchtower headquarters in Brooklyn for six years, was an elder and a factory overseer in charge of printing millions of their books. I left on my own in 1980 after realizing this was a very destructive religion, and you can read about how 50-100 people left the headquarters at that time for the same reason I did; they are very destructive to society as a whole, and tolerate no other religious opinions even in personal conversations with one another. I always find these assemblies refreshing and encouraging! I've been a Witness for 35 years and I haven't seen anything resembling what I just read! I'm not sure if these people actually are who they say they are but I always find it interesting that they only attack and attack with no indication of what they now believe. I know that they won't reveal that now either. At any rate if you would like to read an alternative to the previous info please google "SilentLambs exposed" or better yet go to the source at the Watchtower web site.

Jehovah's Witnesses Apocalyptic Paradox

END of the WORLD is COMING.....but all our financial donations are *Voluntary* we disfellowship (kicked out to be condemned shunned) those who don't comply with our rules, but we don't *force* anybody to stay in our organization you can just walk away anytime you want to,......are self-contradictory statements.

Watchtower is still a major defaulter in all their prophecies and promises. It's is common knowledge among members and reported in TIME magazine that JW have the biggest turnover of members,so this is why they have to go out and frantically recruit.

I left in 2003 and most of my family is still obligated to the Watchtower society and they are not happy disciples.

So then this person "left" and her relatives who are apparently still Jehovah's Witnesses are continuing to communicate with her ... so much for the "shunning" thing! That kinda does sound like a "self-contradictory statement" of it's own! No one has offered what they belive now that is so much better. Could it be that they are afraid of the same "Google" searches they rely on to attack JW's?

OK, suggestion: When checking the health of a tree, check 'it's' leaves. Not another tree's leaves. We have brochures on every subject.

Don't worry about brainwashing. One of our healthiest 'fruits' is we have a stellar history of recognizing and rejecting this reocurring mania.

Lifelong Jehovah's Witnesses...

Lifelong Jehovah's Witnesses dissident speaks out on JW belief system .

A) They are at your door to recruit you for their watchtower society corporation, they will say that "we are just here to share a message from the Bible" this is deception right off.

B) Their 'message' creed is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it's not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim "..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple."

C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban against *whole blood* has killed thousands.

D) once they recruit you they will "love bomb" you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off.

The Watchtower society...

Back to page top

The Watchtower society Jehovah's Witnesses organization actually employs three psychological tools to maintain control and subjugation to their policies and rules.

1. Fear
2. Humiliation
3. Exaltation

Fear of being lost or destroyed in the upcoming, pending great battle of Armageddon where the possibility of suffering a horrendous death according to them, is a very real fear. Such a fate awaits anyone who is not counted among JW's!

Those who are considered spiritually strong are exalted to an elevated status within their respective congregation. Brothers can advance to the lofty position of ministerial servant, elder or overseer at which time they command the respect of all in the congregation. Sisters can achieve a highly respectable status as well, though they are not appointed to a position. Those who spend considerable time in the field ministry, pioneering for example(spending a predetermined amount of time door knocking)are considered very strong spiritually.

Those who are deemed unfit or unrepentant non conformist can suffer the punitive measure of disfellowshippment. For most JW's, this is a fate worst than death, to be avoided at all cost. The psychological impact this can have on an individual is immeasurable. Most JW's will do anything in their power to avoid this type of humiliation.

So it is very easy to become psychologically locked into a specific action(work) with the expectation of a specific reward.
