Fort Frances Home and Leisure Show calling exhibitors and sponsors

The 20th Annual Fort Frances Home and Leisure Show is scheduled for May 2 and 3 at the memorial Sports Center in the Fort.
The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce is reminding home and leisure business exhibitors that booking a space in the show exposes them to a trading population of more than 50,000 people. This is a chance to showcase products and meet thousands of area residents face-to-face, according to Dawn Booth of the FFCC.

The 2008 show will feature various exhibits and activities for people of all ages including the following:
• Two ice surfaces with over 70 exhibitors from across Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Minnesota.
• A children’s section with coloring, face painting, crafts, magic shows and more.
• A local photography contest, cutest pet contest, dunk tank, performances and food vendors.
• Seats for stragglers with benches and extra seating in and around the show floor.
• Drawings, prizes and contests.
• An exhibitor mix and mingle.

The show will be featured on a new weekend with condensed hours, running from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Food vendors, home improvement materials, building products and tools, windows, home decorating, furniture, electronics, books, music, arts, jewelry and other items are what customers are looking for, according to the FFCC.
For more information and booth rates, contact Dawn at 800-274-8706 or thefort@fortfranceschamber.com.
