Ranier City Council is expected to take action on a variety of issues when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Ranier Community Building.
The council is scheduled to hear a recommendation from its buildings, streets and grounds committee to seek an order for condemnation of a cabin belonging to Shirley Borgen. Another recommendation will involve the purchase of two outdoor garbage cans for the deck of the community building.
The budget committee is expected to recommend an annual contribution to the International Falls Fourth of July celebration. Another will request the purchase of three flood tanks.
New business will include the expected renewal of an on-sale liquor license for Grandma’s Pantry and payment of dues to the Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association.
The council is expected to approve the municipal liquor store operating statement for May, with the quarterly transfer of $5,000 in profits to the city general fund.
The council is also scheduled to approve payment of bills for the month totaling $43,074.
