The Indus Community Education program, Independent School District 363, is sponsoring bus transportation to the Minnesota State Fair to attend the Sloughgrass Family Band concert Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Ramberg Senior Center Stage. The Sloughgrass Family Band originates in Birchdale.

The bus, made available through Voyageurs Charter, will leave Friday morning, Aug. 28, and return the following morning, Saturday, Aug. 29. A minimum of 40 people is necessary in order to provide the bus. The bus will accommodate 45. People will have an opportunity to tour the fairgrounds Friday afternoon and evening; as well as Saturday morning and afternoon.

The charter bus will leave Indus School at 8 a.m. Pick up points will be The Y-Knot at Pelland Junction and Menards in International Falls. Motel accommodations will be made at the Super 8 in Roseville for those people who need them. The bus will leave the fairgrounds to return home at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday.

A pre-registration and non-refundable deposit is due by Aug. 1.
