The Koochiching County Board is scheduled to discuss the highlights of the local 4-H program during its meeting Tuesday.
The 4-H discussion with Jan Derdowski, 4-H Extension educator, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
The board meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in the courthouse boardroom.
The board is expected to approve the 2009 county board salary and per diem and, at 10:30 a.m. to discuss canister site contracts during Environmental Services Department business.
The board is scheduled to meet in committee at 9 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. During the morning committee meeting, the board is scheduled to discuss the county’s vehicle policies. At 1:30 p.m., the board is scheduled to meet with the veterans service officer to discuss the potential to develop a regional medical outpatient clinic in the county.
The board is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the Island View sewer project extension proposal with a consultant from the Costin Group, which proposes find funding for the project on behalf of the county.
