County to hear Falls’ strategic plan

The Koochiching County Board is scheduled to hear about the city of International Falls’ strategic plan during its meeting Tuesday.
The board meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in the courthouse boardroom.
Falls Mayor Shawn Mason is scheduled to meet with the board at 11 a.m. to highlight the city’s plan, which is expected to be adopted by the Falls City Council tonight.
The board is also expected to give its support to the Koochiching County Family Dependency Treatment Court at 10:45 a.m. The court is for families with addiction-related abuse with the goals of recovery and family reunification.
The board is scheduled to hear Information System business at 10:20 a.m., followed by Complex business at 10:35 a.m.
The board is also scheduled to hear the annual Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust report at 11:15 a.m. Public comment is scheduled to follow the report.
