Esther E. (Erickson) Jensen, 93, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2009. She was currently residing in New Hope, Minn.

She was born July 16, 1916, in Littlefork, Minn. She resided in International Falls, Minn., from 1959 to 1968, when she moved to Mound, Minn.

She was employed at Tonka toy factory until she retired in 1981. She left Mound and moved to New Hope in 2004.

Esther’s favorite hobbies were bowling (in her younger years), playing her guitar and singing. She was always ready for a game or two of Scrabble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd in 1979; Diane Jensen, sister Elsie Delack; brothers Bill Erickson, Edwin Erickson, Theodore Erickson and Albert Erickson.

She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Wally (Gloria) Jensen of Watertown, S.D., Dennis Jensen of Fort Collins, Colo., and Larry Jensen, of Oakdale, Minn.; her two daughters, Janet Pulkka of New Hope, Minn. and Barbara (Arnie) Nass of International Falls; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was laid to rest with her husband Lloyd on April 2 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St. Paul.
