Eunice Adee-Braford, 78

Eunice Adee-Braford, of International Falls, Minn., died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at the Evergreen Terrace Care Facility, Grand Rapids, Minn. Eunice was 78 years of age.
Born Jan. 24, 1930, in International Falls, Eunice was a lifelong resident of the Falls and grew up on the Van Lynn Road. She attended school in International Falls.
She was united in marriage to Lyman Adee on Jan. 24, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1963.
Eunice worked as a home health care aid and operated the “Country Cottage” for 15 years, a small business in the Falls. She also sold Avon and Watkins products and in her spare time enjoyed gardening. Eunice had a huge love for the outdoors, nature and animals of all kinds. She was a proud board member of Borderland Humane Society.
Later widowed, she remarried in 1991 to Arlie Braford who preceded her in death in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Forsythe and Mary Van Zant; her husbands; sons, Dennis Lee Adee and Steven Lyman Adee; stepson, Alan Braford; brothers, Norman, Ivan and Harold Forsythe; sisters, Viola Dunbar and Helen Germain; grandson, Chad Smuda; and granddaughter, Mary Smuda.
Eunice is survived by her twin sons, Kevin Adee of International Falls, Minn. and Kim Adee of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughters, Karen (Serge) Devin of Devlin, Ontario, Canada and Catherine Wright of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Pricilla Adee of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; grandchildren, Dennis Adee Jr., Ryan Smuda, Jeremy (Kimberly) Smuda, Rio Devin and Hope Wright; great-grandchildren, Jameson Smuda, Faith Wright and Grace Wright; brothers, Roy (Helen) Forsythe, Freeman (Rose) Forsythe and Gerald (Rita) Forsythe; and sisters, Irene Peterson, Gladys Bartholomew and Murial Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at First Baptist Church, International Falls. Pastor James Elkins will officiate.
Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association, 202 Ordean Building, 424 W. Superior St., Duluth, MN 55802, or North Star Hospice of International Falls.
