Evelyn Wagness, 88

Evelyn Wagness, age 88, of International Falls, Minn., passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Falls Good Samaritan Center.
She was born Oct. 26, 1919 at Rainy River, Ontario, Canada to George and Lena Dustak.
The former Evelyn Dustak was united in marriage to Norman Wagness.
She was an active member of the Women of the Moose and St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Judith Burton; brothers, John, Nick and Frederick Dustak; and sister, Florence Martin.
Survivors include sons, Barrett Wagness of International Falls and Warren (Suzi) Wagness of Duluth, Minn.; grandchildren, William Wagness of Duluth, Douglas (Dina) Bigler of Naples, Fla., Kristi Bigler of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Sean Michael Leeman of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jason and Justin Bigler; nieces, Marna (Howard) Bobzynski of Fort Frances, Ontario, and Gail (Don) Berry of Atikokan, Ontario; nephew, Frederick Dustak; great-nieces and -nephews, Patrick, Christopher and Jillian Bobzynski, Shane and Allen Dustak, Melissa (Duram) Norman, and Courtney Berry.
Also surviving are Chad Dustak, Chase Dustak and Norman Tanikka, all of Fort Frances, Ontario, and Steve Dometruk of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Green-Larsen Mortuary. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was given at 6:30.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Interment was at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
