Oveda Blanche Brantal, 90, of International Falls, Minn., died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Falls Memorial Hospital, International Falls.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Zion Lutheran Church, International Falls, with the Rev. Steve Olson officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls, under the direction of Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck, Minn.
She was born Nov. 22, 1917 in Palisade, Minn., the daughter of Theodore and Nellie (Doust) Olson.
She married George Brantal Nov. 23, 1939 in International Falls.
They were active members of the Lynx Club in International Falls.
She enjoyed fishing, Bingo and traveling
She is survived by her son, Donald (Carol) Brantal of Somerset, Wis.; two sisters, Edna (Joe) Doris of International Falls and Mary Jane Fuoco of Sacramento, Calif.; special friends, Katsy and Larry Long of International Falls; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George, on June 1, 2003; two brothers, Elmer and Teddy; and four sisters, Mildred, Margaret, Clara and Velma.
