Learning Web design workshop
Rainy River Community College will present a workshop on Learning Web Design on April 11, 18 and 25 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in room SS-134.
This 12-hour course will teach the basics of how to create an effective web site. Participants will learn: basic XHTML tags to design pages; acquisition and preparation of images for the Web; page layout using tables and style sheets; web design tips and tricks; and how to design and complete a 1-5 page web site.
Each participant will develop and complete their own project. Co-sponsored by the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Cost is $75 and is co-sponsored by the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Call 285-2207 to register.

Excel 2007 intermediate workshop offered
Rainy River Community College will present an Excel 2007 Intermediate Workshop on April 17 and 24 and May 1 from 6-9 p.m. in room SS-135. Participants will learn to manage workbook data; use tables and analyze table data; automate worksheet tasks; enhance charts; and share Excel files in this intermediate course.
Lessons are presented in an easy-to-follow style using a colorfully illustrated course guide. Participants learn a single skill at a time with practical hands on exercises. Cost is $49, including a workbook, and is co-sponsored by the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Call 285-2207 to register.
