Joe and Chris Polus, Ranier, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kailey Jo Polus, to Joseph Benedict Rucinski, son of Ben and Lois Rucinski, Becida.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Falls High School, a 2005 graduate of Rainy River Community College and a 2007 graduate of Bemidji State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. She is currently employed with Pinnacle Publishing, Bemidji.

The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Bemidji High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, with a bachelor of science degree in forest management.

An Oct. 3, 2009, wedding is being planned by the couple in International Falls.
