Backus raffle

Linda Merrill offers a reference point to gauge the size of the totem pole that was donated to Citizens for Backus/AB by Carl and Linda Muggli. The pole will be used to raise funds for the Backus Community Center. Citizens are taking $5 donations to raffle off the totem pole. The top of the totem pole is a representation of Tsoona, son of Thunderbird and the main crest of the Awaitala Tribe; the Wolf, crest of the Raven clan; the Beaver represents energy and craftsmanship; and the Baby Frog; a symbol of luck and good communications.
