Fr. Wilfred Upson, OMI, assistant pastor at St. Thomas Catholic Church in the Falls for the past six years, was notified of his transfer to Fond du Lac, Wis. He will assume the pastorate there on Aug. 17. Grand opening of the Western Station Store, 301 Fourth St., began today and continues through Sunday. Wayne Darval is manager of the Station-Store which employs 14 people.
What began as meaningful work for a retired Mando employee is developing into future retirement plans for his son when he retires from the U.S. Air Force. They are raising Empress Chinchillas. They are William Tostanoski, who retired in 1958 as grinding room foreman after more than 40 years employment with Mando, his son, Chief Master Sgt. Bill Tostanoski and the Sergeant’s wife, Helen, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Petruk, 406 Sixth St., and sister of Probate Judge George Hnatiuk.

Members and friends of Calvary Methodist Church called at the parsonage Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. to get acquainted with Rev. Charles H. Berg, new pastor, and his wife at an open house staged by Rev. and Mrs. Berg.
Elisabeth Jean Millard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Millard, celebrated her sixth birthday Friday with a party at her home. The young folks enjoyed a weiner roast and a theater party.

Tom Johnson, Papermakers Colony, is building a new garage to replace the one destroyed by fire last spring.
Mr. and Mrs. George Biondich Jr. and young daughter moved today into their new colonial type home at 915 Fifth St.
Visiting here for several days is Keith Amidon of Minneapolis. He is the guest of John Frederickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Frederickson, 917 Fifth St.
Jody Schulz, son of Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Schulz, 516 Fifth St., celebrated his fifth birthday yesterday. Eight little friends attended the party at the Schulz home.
