The Falls Knights of Columbus installed Joe Gust as 1969-1970 Grand Knight Thursday night in St. Thomas Hall. Retiring Grand Knight is Ernie Rousseau.
Mr. and Mrs. James Wherley, 1404 Home Lane, are looking at maps of Europe in anticipation of their forthcoming trip. Wherley, dealer and part owner of Wherley Motors, was notified last week by telephone that he is the regional high sales winner of the Chrysler-Travel Award Program.

Airman 3/c Henry Dale Eggebroten, Littlefork, arrived home last Thursday from Bergstrom Air Force Base, Austin, Texas, to spend a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eggebroten and other relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. William F. Blanchard, 1612 First Ave. E., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharalyn Kaye, to Harvey (Corky) Schaak.
A family get-together was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Francis, South International Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Ogren and son, Frede, Fruitland, New Mexico, were guests of honor. The Nels Ogrens are former residents of International Falls having left here in 1932. This is their first return trip in 15 years.

A.J. Scott, 1023 Seventh St., Falls resident for 38 years, is confined to his home because of a serious heart condition.
Mrs. Fred Ickert, 1123 Main Ave., who has resided in the Falls for 32 years, enjoyed a reunion with her children Sunday. Present were her three sons and two daughters.
Harold Reich, Faye Apartments, returned Monday morning from Chicago, where he attended the Aad Temple Shriners Convention. Mrs. Reich, who had spent the week at Fairfax, also returned.
Sons of Norway, Vinland Lodge 193, have formulated plans for further improvement of their Rainy Lake property. Meeting last Thursday in their summer cottage, members decided to improve the grounds and the dock.
