Falls Country Club’s Oldsmobile Scramble team comprised of Mike Bolstad, Darcy Ruport, Brad Olson and Martha Karsnia won the Falls Oldsmobile Scramble Tournament recently.
The International Falls City Council recently received a retirement letter from Paul Mongrain, assistant director of building and maintenance. Mongrain’s retirement would take effect Aug. 31.

Adolph W. Krohn, 71, pioneer Falls businessman and former fire chief, died this morning at his residence, 324 Seventh St.
Miss Dorothy Jane Katrin’s engagement and approaching marriage to Lowell Blais, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julien Blais, Jameson Addition, was announced this week by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Katrin, 513 Ninth St.
