The starting five for the Bronco basketball team tonight will by Larry Rehn, Morris Viden, Mark Elliott, Bob Matiski and Jim Baron.
Allan Soboleski, 26, a Falls native and graduate of the 1961 Class at Falls High School, has joined the new and used car sales staff at Sheridan Motors, Inc.
Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Kohlhase’s home was the scene of a happy family get-together and birthday party recently when their son, Francis, was home from Anchorage, Alaska.
Expected home this evening for the Thanksgiving holiday from St. Peter, where she is a freshman at Gustavus Adolphus College, is Miss Bonnie Bruggeman, who will visit with her mother, Mrs. Burton Bruggeman Jr., 1017 Riverside Drive. On Thanksgiving Day they will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Pavek, 148 Riverview Boulevard.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hanson, Falls residents for 50 years, observed the 60th anniversary of their marriage Sunday at open house at their home, 133 Riverview Boulevard.
The 10th birthday of Kathleen Blanchard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Blanchard, 1612 First Ave. E., was celebrated at a birthday party in her home with girlfriends after school Friday.
Shirley Swenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Swenson, Island View Route, celebrated her 12th birthday at a party in her home after school Friday.
A son was born today in Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Don Chowan, 308 1/2 Eighth St., 6 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces.

H.H. Palmer has been named as examiner of titles and legal adviser to the registrar of deeds. Palmer succeeds the late W.V. Kane.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Keyes, Point O’Pines, will entertain Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Pavek and children, Janet and Patty Lu and Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Keyes on Thanksgiving Day.
Candidate for the Ranier village office of trustee is Hubert H. Oster, Village Clerk George Finstad said today.
Mrs. Charles Ketola, 901 Second St., sustained a bone separation in her left ankle when she slipped on ice in front of her home Saturday night.

Apparently, after 50 years, it appears the truth is finally out. Right here, in black and white, the Daily Journal says that fifty years ago today a SON was born to Mr. and Mrs. Don Chowan.
