The International Falls Police Department has concluded its investigation into three threats of violence that were left on the Falls School District’s voice mail system in March and April.
A 12-year-old International Falls boy was arrested following the third threat. The threats closed schools in the district for two days in March.
Falls Deputy Chief Darryl Waller said they are confident that only one person was involved in the threats. The case has now been forwarded to the Koochiching County attorney.
As for disciplinary action for the student by the Falls school district, Superintendent Don Langan said, “There has been action taken, and the action has been implemented.”
He said he could not comment further.
The two days students missed following the evacuation will not be made up, according to Langan.
