International Falls Police Department
Assault: A male juvenile assaulted an officer while he was being taken into custody Tuesday.

Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Recovered ATV: An all-terrain vehicle, owned by Alan Hartje, Bemidji, was recovered Monday in Northome. Its estimated value is more than $1,000.

Ontario Provincial Police
Robbery: Fort Frances OPP officers responded Tuesday to a robbery at a motel in Fort Frances. A male entered the motel office demanding cash from the owner and assaulted him, according to a report. The owner received injuries as a result of the robbery, but did not require hospitalization.
Fort Frances OPP officers responded within minutes of receiving the call and used the OPP Northwest Region K-9 Unit.
The crime continues to be under investigation by the Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit.
