Update: Timothy E. Steinbach, 47, International Falls, was charged Friday in Koochiching District Court with receiving stolen property. Officers went to Steinbach’s Loman residence Sept. 24, where they recovered items valued in excess of $10,000, according to a court complaint. Among the 100 items recovered were items from Up North Builders, Peterson Logging and the Loman county garage. According to the complaint, Steinbach admitted, in a post-Miranda statement, to knowing many of the items recovered were stolen and that he would pay people for stolen items they brought to him.
