International Falls Police Department
Theft: David G. Swenson reported Tuesday that 500 pounds of copper and an equal amount of lead and ground wire, for a total value of $1,200, was taken from Pelland Swenson, 324 Industrial Ave.

Ontario Provincial Police
Break and enter: Between 10 p.m. and midnight June 13, a male suspect kicked in a door of a residence in Emo and confronted the occupant before fleeing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.tipshelp.com.

St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office
Boat collision: A 55-year-old male passenger from Illinois died as a result of a boat allegedly striking an underwater rock on Jeanette Lake, located off the Echo Trail about 35 miles northeast of Orr. The collision caused the passenger to be ejected from the boat. The victim was wearing a life jacket. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation attempts failed.
