Littlefork-Big Falls enters tonight’s rivalry game against International Falls undefeated after defeating Blackduck at home Friday 55-38. Blackduck was averaging 61 points a game before the lopsided loss.

The Vikings (3-0) got a game-high 17 points and seven assists from Jesse Steele, Garrett Larson added a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds and Zach Stencel posted seven points.

Todd Kallroos led Blackduck with eight points.

“It’s finally nice to have the kids realize that we don’t have to score 80 points to win a ball game,” Vikings head coach Jeff Maish said, noting this is his best defensive team in four seasons.

The L-BF-International Falls matchup begins tonight at 7:30 p.m.
