The International Falls JV Baseball team defeated Cook-Orr 6-0 on Tuesday in Cook.
Michael Misner, Nick Lagen and Billy Bright were the leading hitters while Chris Steinbach was the winning pitcher.
The Falls JV is now 5-5 on theseason.
Reminder: Future Champs is a compilation of stories, summaries, photos and stats of recreation sports that is published every Thursday in the Sports Section.
Coaches and parents are urged to submit pictures, game stories or stats by Tuesday afternoon of each week (early entries are highly recommended). Entries, with players’ names spelled correctly, can be e-mailed to Joe Krause at joe1@dailyjournal-ifalls.com. Pictures can be e-mailed or dropped off in person at The Daily Journal 1602 Highway 71 in International Falls.
