Make sure you stop by the library before you head to the shack. The library provides great reading material, whether you want to learn different hunting techniques, want to escape, or want to think. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to read while you are waiting for daylight and the chance to get back outside. What better to take to the shack than paperbacks, they don’t take much space and can even slip in a pocket to be with you outside while you wait for the deer to wander past.
The fiction paperback collection includes a wide range of stories. Here are some suspense and action thriller titles. She works with John, an ex-detective to try and figure out who wants her dead and why. The Solomon Effect by C.S. Will the world end?
A ski instructor, a pregnant woman, other abductions, what do they all have in common? The Plantation by Chris Kuzneski is a action-packed, swift story of revenge. Jonathan Payne’s girlfriend was snatched. Can he figure out why and where she is, before it is too late? Another tale of revenge can be found in Sudden Death by Allison Brennan. If you prefer your mysteries a little calmer and less violent, then check out these mystery series from the paperback mystery section. Laura Childs writes Cackleberry Club mysteries with the newest Eggs in Purgatory. Of course, mysteries centered around a café wouldn’t be complete without recipes. And while we are talking recipes, check out Melinda Wells’, Della Cooks mysteries including Death Takes the Cake, which are centered around a cooking school.
If you enjoy researching family history, you know you never know what you’ll find. Daughter of Deceit by Patricia Sprinkle is part of the Family Tree mysteries and features Katharine Murray, a history researcher who specializes in family heirlooms, but she is in a race against the clock to solve this mystery or the future will be grim. Leann Sweeney and her cats in trouble mysteries are back with The Cat, the Quilt and the Corpse. And when cats go missing, look out!
