‘Summer on the Border’
“Summer on the Border” is on stage at Backus Community Center Friday at 7 p.m. Director Beckie Aitken brings something for everyone from both sides of the Border — song, dance, comedy skits and storytelling. Admission is $10 for adults; $25 family, and $5 children 12 and under. Tickets are available at City Drug, Thrifty White Drug, Backus office and Betty's in Fort Frances. Tickets are also available at the door. Proceeds benefit Backus Auditorium improvements.

Class of 1983
Falls High School Class of 1983 will gather for a 25-year reunion Aug. 15 and 16. Classmates who haven’t received an invitation should contact Berta Hagen at 283-1042 or Lois Fogelberg at 283-1010.

Red Hat Loonaticks
The Red Hat Loonaticks will gather for a Monday luncheon at Sha~Sha Resort. Those wishing to attend should meet at 11 a.m. to carpool from Faith United Church of Christ parking lot.

Moose events
A taco supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Moose Lodge. At 6 Saturday, barbecue country style ribs will be featured. Reservations are needed and may be made by calling 283-3615.
