Appointment of Paul N. Turenne as production supervisor for the Insulite Division of Boise Cascade was announced today by Guy M. Schaefer, resident manager.
Linda Carlson and Dan Thureen received a Letter of Commendation honoring them for their high performance on the 1968 National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Miss Kathy Hromidko, senior at Bemidji State College, is the student teacher assigned to Irving Peterson to assist in the instruction of the junior high school instrumental music students.
Dr. Robert M. Morse, son of Mrs. Harold Morse and the late Mr. Morse, International Falls, has been appointed a consultant in psychiatry at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

Murray Borden was reported today as resting comfortably in Virginia Municipal Hospital where he was taken after suffering injuries in an accident Saturday in the Insulite mill.
Larry F. Glava, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Glava, 1511 Ninth Ave., graduated from recruit training recently at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nordstrand, Ranier, 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
Tony Pullar was honored at a birthday party on his third birthday today. Prizes in games went to Barbara Halvorson, Lauren Halvorson and Gregg Pullar.

A stork shower honoring Mrs. Bernard Buchholz was held at the home of Mrs. James Christie, 711 Seventh St.
Dr. and Mrs. L.B. French of Benton, Wis., left yesterday for their home after visiting at the lake cottage of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Miller.
New officers of Brownie Troop 2 are: Patty Joe Jones, president; Judy Lessard, vice president; Carol King, secretary; Sue Crotty, treasurer; Sharon Growette, scribe.
