The collapse of the eight-lane Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis Wednesday touches most Minnesotans in some manner. Many of us travel across the bridge regularly, have lived in the Twin Cities or have family who live there.

Some area residents or former residents were in the vicinity of the bridge when it collapsed. The Journal’s Friday edition will feature some of those stories.

The Daily Journal is looking for photographs of the bridge and stories about the collapse from Borderland area residents to help tell this story.
