The Ranier City Council is scheduled to complete its annual
designations for city attorney, city auditor, bank depositories,
official newspaper and acting mayor Tuesday.

The council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Ranier Community Building.

The council is also scheduled to make annual appointment to committees.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda is to take action on the Ranier Liquor Store’s
operating statement for December and to renew its pulltab lease until
2010.

The council is expected to approve payment of bills in the total amount of $44,000.

The board is also expected to approve an ordinance that finalizes the
water rates. The water rates are to be increased for the next three
years. It was is the result of a study completed and the council
approved the increase in April.
