The following people have been sentenced in Koochiching County District Court for gross and aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes.

• Justin L. Kelly, 27, Littlefork, was sentenced Sept. 27, 2007, for felony second-degree assault involving a dangerous weapon.
He was committed to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for 33 months, which was stayed for five years. He was ordered to serve one year in the county jail and pay $122 court fees. He was placed on five years supervised probation and was ordered not to have contact with the victim.
He was ordered to have an alcohol assessment, submit to random searches, and he may not consume or possess alcohol or drugs.
• Joseph L. Napper, 30, International Falls, was sentenced Sept. 18, 2007, for gross misdemeanor third-degree driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to 30 days jail and $3,222 fine and court fees. He was sentenced to 10 days home electronic monitoring and $2,000 was stayed on court conditions. He was placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to serve 80 hours with the Sentence to Serve crew.
He was ordered not to consume alcohol or controlled substance and may not enter bars or other establishments where liquor is being used. He must submit to a random search if requested.
