I cannot believe how cruel and heartless our state trooper and sheirff are towards other peoples pets. And my tax money is paying for them. Ok the reason why is that a friend of mine's dog had gotten away from them last night, and while they were looking for their dog, it came across the scranner that a dog had gotten hit, but only had a broken leg. My friends called the police department, but they said they have no record and that they would have to call the state trooper since it was out of city limits. (out towards Ranier) They gotten the state trooper name who had the dog (all a while didn't know if it was their's or not). The trooper didn't contacted them until morning, and it was their dog. The cruel and heartless part is that the state trooper and sheirff did not follow prodical. The dog only had a broken leg. Prodical was to contact the humane society and they would take care of the dog. Instead they thru the dog in the back of the sheirff's truck with a thin blanket outside in the cold. The dog died of exposure and went into shock. In the morning, this mean and heartless sheriff and state trooper thru the dog on the side of the road. When the trooper finally gotten back to my friend regarding the dog. He brought them to him on the side of the road, and told them everything that happen. My friend called the humane society to tell them they had found their dog and what happen. The humane society informed them that they didn't follow prodical. The dog (Jake) who was loved very much by an child with autism, and is very upset was also the owner's siezure dog. The dog did have tags, but at the time of the accident the tags weren't on him. I am very much outraged of our state troop and sheriff's duties. To the people who life up on the lake, please be extra care with your animals, and don't count on the sheriff or the state trooper help you might not see your dog alive again.
