Indus Community Education is hosting the eighth annual quilt show at the Indus School on May 19.
The show is scheduled to be held in the school library from 5-7 p.m.
All quilters in the area are encouraged to bring their handiwork and creativity to the Indus School for display. As in the past years, Indus staff are looking forward to having a great selection of quilts to display.
Quilts can be left at the school anytime prior to May 19. Please attach your name, as well as a brief description about the quilt. Many people have heirloom quilts that have been handed down for generations.
Lois Lewis and the Family Consumer Science Department is serving a freewill baked potato supper 5-6:30 p.m. in the home economics classroom.
The first of two spring concerts are also scheduled during the evening. The instrumental spring concert and piano recital will begin at 7 p.m.
The Indus kindergarten room is expected to be full of excitement when the annual kindergarten round-up begins at 5 p.m.
