Kimberly Johnson and Mitchell Hall were married May 30, 2008, at Brighton Beach on Lake Superior, Duluth.

A reception, dinner and dance followed at the AmericInn, Proctor.

Kim is the daughter of Diane Douglas (formerly Johnson) and Mitch is the son of the late Carol Hall.

Both are employed in Duluth and attend Lake Superior College.

The couple are making their home in Duluth.

Beth Lucca, Elgin, and Josey Varberg, Elgin, were united in marriage Saturday, June 21, 2008, during a 3 p.m. wedding ceremony at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Fr. Roger Bergkamp performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Mary Lucca and Randy and Judy Olafson, International Falls. The groom is the son of Jere and Darlene Varberg, Minot, N.D.

Haylee Wimmer, Littlefork, and Charlie Little, Littlefork, were united in marriage Saturday, Jan 5, 2008, at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nev.

Haylee is the daughter of Rob and Candice Wimmer, Littlefork, and Charlie is the son of Terry and Sharon Little, Littlefork.

Attending the bride were her sister, Lacey Wimmer, and friends Christina Heinlen and Jennifer Promersberger.

Serving as the groom’s attendants were his brother, Abe Little, and friends Erik Lund, Bob Heinlen and Nick Horne.

Heidi Paulson, daughter of Mavis and Steve Paulson, Goodridge, and Scott Thompson, son of Jean and Robert Thompson, International Falls, were united in marriage Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls.

On Sunday, June 8, 2008, Kendra Sarah Goetz, formerly of International Falls, and Shaun Michael Lotter, of Springfield, Mo., exchanged vows in holy matrimony before 150 guests. The couple was married at 3 in the afternoon at Wellington Place, downtown Springfield. Wellington serves as a banquet/reception hall.

Kimberly Suzanne Simon, daughter of James and Susan Simon, Lakeville, and Shawn Michael Carney, son of Michael and Lori Carney, International Falls, were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007. The ceremony was conducted at the Berean Baptist Church, Lakeville, with Pastor Steve Eriksson of Scottsdale Bible Church, Phoenix, Ariz., officiating.
The bride appeared in a white tulle A-line gown with beaded lace appliqués and a draped pick-up skirt designed by Monique Luo.

Kimberly Dawn Mattison, daughter of Kathleen and the late Lawrence Mattison, International Falls, and Matthew John Stegmeir, son of John and Carol Stegmeir, Kabetogama, were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. traditional Christian ceremony July 7, 2007, at First Lutheran Church. Pastor Thomas M. Aitken officiated.

Lynda Braaten and Joe Jennrich were married Jan. 4, 2008, at the New Life Church-Lutheran, Pastor Peter Nafzger officiating, in Hugo.
A reception was held at the Waters Edge Community Center following the ceremony.
Lynda works for Pediatric Home Service & Target, Roseville. Joe is manager/mechanic for Bumper-To-Bumper, Hugo.
They are at home at 16005 Glenbrook Ave. N., Hugo.

Christina Marie York, daughter of Bill and Rosemarie York (Liedke), Fort Frances, Ontario, and Derek John Dowty, son of Kevin and Shelby Dowty, International Falls, were united in marriage Saturday, June 23, 2007. The ceremony was conducted at Holiday Inn Gardens, International Falls, with Pastor Kyle Gunderson of Evangelical Covenant Church officiating.

Elizabeth Jacques, Silver Lake, and Jeffrey Westom, International Falls, were united in marriage July 21, 2007, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Glencoe. Fr. Anthony Stubeda performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Brenda Jacques, Silver Lake, and the groom is the son of John and Peg Westom, International Falls.

Maid of honor was Anne Austad, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shannon Detloff, friend of the bride, Becky Schuette, friend of the bride, and Molly Skifstad, sister of the groom.
